This seems like it is a simple game, but its very challenging to get a high score (try it!)
The more coconuts you carry, the more bananas you earn, but the harder it becomes.
Left and right keys control the monkey.

simple game, not bad though. i can think of a ton of things to add: powerups, everybody <3's powerups, (unless you were going for that simple pick up and play style). you could add for example, a speed boost, and possibly a sort of shield the enables a stick hold on your coconuts, whenever you'r hit on the head you want drop them. most people don't mind the extra learning curb for the diverse gameplay. you could also make bad stuff drop, like snakes and you would have to avoid it until it slithered off the screen. then add a jump key, and when you jump you can still move (so you don't get smashed in midair. well this is just my idea of what this could be, but it's still an o.k game.

In a way, I agree with you. Whilst writing this game it was actually more difficult to keep all these sort of things out than to put them in.
In the end I was trying to create a very simple game, with as few keys to press as possible, and with just the right balance. It was meant to be easy to pick up, especially for kids, but also challenging to get a high score.
I thought it might have more appeal to the 5 minute gamer this way, but in the end, who knows?
Its nice but,
its WAY to easy. Make more obstacles in the game.
