I thought the entire concept of the game was interesting, however, it is true that the controls were sometimes very unresponsive. It's intentional, I know, because it flows better with the mood. In most cases the unresponsiveness was fine, but the third, um "level" I suppose? Was rather tedious due to the controls, I played through it because the game interested me, but it did try my patience. Otherwise very good, I enjoyed the surrealist artwork, a little fetus apparently floating through the sky was very unique.
The story itself was very vague and mysterious and open for interpretation, which I enjoyed. The constant Gothic feel was very entertaining. Overall, very enjoyable. For an experiment, it's quality work, I'm looking forward to what else you may have in store.
Oh, and by the way, the music set the mood perfectly, well done there as well.
it didn't make sence. whatare you sopposed to do
Coil reminds me of fl0w, an experiment on gaming that steps outside the borders of understanding when it comes to gaming. It's very interesting, and I personally love the macabre feeling of it. The music and graphics totally set a mood.
I'd love to see more work like this, or an extension of this. This is the kind of work that gets hired by companies for bigger projects. Good luck!
This game was really fun, had a good time playing it.
Once you figure out what it is, it gets pretty simple.
And by the way, this game requires a certain amount of intelligence to play :D
this game was cool in animation and controls one of the best game playing considering i didnt no wat i was doing abit of the time. towards the end was wierd with flying embryos and such would be nice to add a birth sequence to finish off a realistic type of birth game..
