Alien Annihilation

Author Comments

Alien Annihilation is a space shooter game where you must blow up UFOs to save the planet. Follow them from earth to their home planet where you must defeat the final boss. Complete bonus rounds for extra points.

One of my earlier games, I am mainly an artist instead of a programmer but I am learning actionscript to make my games better.

decent

Hit detection was a pain. I would aim on the left and something on the right would blow up. Art was good. Fix the detection, add some upgrades and you may have a winner.

Quite Good

Was quite Good, Needed some time to understand, but afterwards felt quite good

Good thing I'm not being rated for accuracy!

Instructions to play Alien Annihilation:

1: Constantly and rapidly click the left mouse button.
2: Wave the mouse in the general direction of the aliens; you're bound to hit them eventually.

That being said, you really need to work on the hit scripting here: Where I clicked had virtually no bearing on what did and didn't die.

Other than that, the graphics could use some touching up, and the story seemed a bit contrived.

Rating: Needs Improvement : 6/10,3/5

IMisfitsI responds:

Graphics could use touching up? Well I just watched your submission and I don't see how you can say that. Try doing artwork AND programming for a game on your own instead of a 15 second "cartoon". Yours reminded me of when I used mess around in Mario Paint as a kid. Sorry but it's true.

good job

it was a nice challenge and was still fun to play maybe some weapon upgrades could improve it but overall good job

Good but not great

i really liked it but its nothing new the controls are a bit laggy but if you clean it up i waould have scored it a 7/10 but i liked the HUD. over all it was pretty good though
