Submachine 5: the root

The fifth episode of the Submachine series. This time we go back to the very first submachine ever built - historically speaking. It was created by an unknown scientist in the early 20th century. This is the place where it all started.

Another great installment in the series! I rather enjoyed how it stuck to one area and had you traverse different parts of it, keeping the same old abandoned theme of the place, compared to the lab being rather tidy and the corridor being, well, a corridor. Music is still as stellar as always and made it feel like you were completely alone in this giant incomprehensible machine, and that, you are not wanted here.

everything's awsome...

i have only one concern... how are the plates travelling between the teleport machines?
is the "traveller" holding the plate while going trough or something?

I like how the 'make your own notes' feature has evolved into the game just writing it down for you. Making your own notes is fun, but it can distract from the game sometimes.

It took me an hour and a half to finish it but great game. I'm addicted.

This series truly is amazing. I never did beat most of these when they first came out (I was pretty young back then), but playing them again and seeing them for what they truly are after learning the conclusion makes them even more amazing.
