10 years later, I find myself watching it again. Still one of my favorite submissions on Newgrounds and inspired me to do flash movies. Kudos!

Who cares,I like it!!!!

I didn't actually care that it had the crapest graphics I've ever seen, the story was really good!!!

NICE JOB!!

wow..thats one hella long movie, but it had a great story to it...sorta something like watching those short edu-films at school..but hella much lot better!

good job man!

Who knew an emulator could create such a story

When I first downloaded the executable version at Houlis' website, I was amazed with the story he had done. It almost spoke of a classic "Planet explodes and Explaination behind it" story. Having seen Houlis' previous work with his Tehkan Cup film, The MAME Olympiad, MAME Song, and MAME Dance movies, I think he's done a great job. I would write and thank him for his work, but don't pester him about making another film. He's a very busy man but I'm sure he'll have another movie in progress. Mario made a great Spy, considering Nintendo's attempt to shut down emulation. Grand Master Peter, I salute you.

This is pretty brilliant.

To be fair, there were a few bits where I felt almost bored, but at the end, I was left feeling most satisfied, with the way it's like a children's story about emulators.

Kind of like a modern version of 'Why does the Giraffe have such a Long Neck?' and those kind of stories.

I was a little dissappointed with Mario being the evil spy tho'
