Top down view action RPG shooter game. A village hires heros to clear out the forest and nearby areas. As you do you find out there are a lot worse things then giant rats. This is a fast past fantasy shooting game.

Features include:
12 Quests that are always unique (random generation).
Monsters: Giant Rat, Goblins, Lion Men, Lizard Men, Battle Orgres, Bats, Drakes, Dragons, Demons, Wizards, Bandits and more!
Upgrade your HP and Damage after each quest.
Collect Gold, Earn Points based on time completion and kill counts.
AI - smart pathfinding, most creatures won't notice you straight away but when they do will go straight for you.

Warning this game may be a bit slow on really old computers works fine on mine 512mb ram but much less than 256mb ram and you might see it struggle. Let me know as I'm trying to improve the game enigne.

Once again this is only my second game completed so be nice please :)

I do appreciate any constructive critiscm.

Enjoy the Beast Hunt.

I am sorry, but I did not like this game. At least there are some people who do. I felt that the CGI wasn't very good. It was even a bit hard for me to control. I think you should have just used the standard controls for this. You know, the WASD ones.

We're just used to those. I guess the work with the arrows is pretty good. It's another game that's just not rewarding. The sounds aren't too bad, I guess. There wasn't anything too unique about this.

Not a very good shooter game.

There are too many advertisements during the load times, overhead perspective is boring, the directional buttons would have been better off for the arrow keys (not letter buttons), and the targeting system was unreliable. I got too distracted with the multitude of enemies headed towards me to concentrate on shooting, so lighten up on the number of enemies you put on the screen.

One small glitch

Arrows are able to pass through objects such as rocks and trees. This can be very useful after a couple of stages. You should make it you have a limited amount of arrows (buy more after each level) and more upgrades n stuff.

Also u can hold the left mouse button then right click to make it he keeps firing without pressing anything :P

Hmm...

The graphics were good, but the game became boring after a couple of levels. The weapon wasn't changeable and power-ups... there wasn't enough. The enemies also didn't change rapidly enough. It would be much better if you work on those things.

ffgameplayer responds:

Fair enough, I'm working on a similar game so short level, quick changing of units and weapon powerups will be a key component. Thanks.

good job

a good game, a little on the hard side, a way to raise the players defense maybe have health potions drop in the middle of a quest, or a healing skill/spell, strafing would have been nice to have, as well as a charge attack, not just autofire, but a good game nonetheless, good job

ffgameplayer responds:

I was going to do the potions thing but decided not too. Will do for the next version + skills and spells and better powerups.
