It's simple. Shoot the enemies and get upgrades (weapon type, speed, and shoot speed). If you get hit once you're dead. High scores save onto your computer, so you can exit the browser if you like and the high score will remain.

ASDW are used to move the ship.
Your mouse is used to aim your blaster.
You cant turn off and on the sound by the buttons at the top right of the screen.

Circles- they flood you. they get faster too.
Squares- they are like zombies. they are slow, but have quick bursts of energy. Don't get too close.
OctoPies- these guys are slow, but when hit, break into pie pieces.
Snakes- snakes are quick and sly. Watch out. They can suprise you.

Good attempt, but it's laggy as shit.


This game is just short of great, unfortunately it's too chaotic and difficult to be fun, just addictive.

The music is really good, and it looks pretty enough, but in the end it reminds me too much of the ambulance missions in GTA: one unlucky spawn and all your progress is lost. As it is, too frustrating to be playable. Needs to either spawn enemies with more warning, provide extra lives from the start, or start at a much gentler (custom?) difficulty.

People, of course it's not going to be as pretty as the 360 version. Rate the game for what it is. And for what it is, it's pretty dam amazing, one of the prettiest things I've ever played, next to the original.

Feels more like Asteroids than Geometry Wars.
