great stuff

yea the idea of the device is great, kinda reminds me of full metal alchemist, being able to create things using the material of something else, if you aint seen it before, i suggest you do it might inspire you with your series, good work, cant wait for the next one!

DJJ-asshole responds:

Since I'm an anime freak, of course I've seen FMA.
But I only watched 5 episodes.
Planning to watch them all though.

But I wasn't inspired by FMA. And I guess I don't need it, since I don't want to create a second FMA series.

Thanks for the advice and your review!

I don't really like the story so far

Even the base of the story has a big weakness: you introduce "The Device" as something that can form any object you need anywhere by forcing the atoms of the environment to move in the needed direction and make the needed bonds. In such stories we use to ignore the impossibility of such things, however even such a device cannot form anything anywhere, becouse you need the appropirate atoms to be in your courrent environment. For example if you have such a device with you in the desert, you will still not be able to make yourself a bucket of water, becouse the lack of iron atoms (for the bucket) and the lack of hidrogen atoms. You can't do much things with silicon, oxigen, nitrogen, argon and carbon. Maximum some nitrous oxid to knock out yourself.
Then this hostage situation: it's impossible to imagine that such an inept agent would get The Device! Becouse that's what he is: an imbecile, corny, fool twat! Why? Becouse even the lowest ranked policmen are trained what to do in such a hostage situation, especially that this one was the simplest situation possible. And this person whose wife the hostage was, was some high ranked one for sure, and still didn't know what to do, had no balls, and couldn't even hide his feeling in the critical moments. That's why.
However, the animatinon is good, the vices are ok, and the base idea had some potential even if it has been screwed. So, that deservs a 5/10. And if you could correct your mistakes in the next episodes somehow, or at least the good guys will not be inept, ball-less bitches, maybe the serie will have more success.

Ps.: For one reason I'm looking forward for the next episode: I'm curious about what punishment will this agent get for being such a pussy.

DJJ-asshole responds:

First of all: This is pure fiction. That, I assume you know.
I didn't say you could make a bucket of water of sand.
Maybe you could make a bucket of SAND, that is.

Second of all, judging a movie based on the personality of one character is simply ignorant.
This is no Mister Newgrounds competition.

Fair enough, you made some points though.

And as for the next episodes, Red will be much darker, as you can see in the beginning when he's talking about his wife.

The previous episode said "To Be Concluded" and this wasn't a conclusion.

DJJ-asshole responds:

This is ... Maybe not a direct conclusion of it, but to be honest, the main story will be about Red.

cool, but i want to know why the cop don't just kill that guy manipulating something like a big stone in the guy's head

DJJ-asshole responds:

Because the criminal was holding a gun towards his wife?
