This submission isn't related to the holidays, but it's my gift to the Clock Crew, as I just realized the other day that I've only made one Clock movie this year.

This was a self-challenge. I gave myself two days to make an animation to this entire segment of music. I couldn't use any tweens and I had to hand-draw everything (without using automated lines and text). I also had to keep that same background image and use only a single solid color.
It was fun. And I hope you enjoy it.

**NOTE FOR USERS ON SLOWER COMPUTERS: Try lowering the quality settings (which can be done on the drop-down right-click menu). It will allow flash to perform better if your computer is slow, thus making the animation smoother.

Thank god.

Its a Christmas miracle! A CC submission I don't have to hate. Thank you for making me hate the Clock's a little less.

You're welcome. But it wasn't my objective to make anyone hate the Clock Crew less, but to explain to them that the CC is all about self-expression. If we only wanted to make extremely high quality movies, it would be easy. There are so many talented animators that if we all grouped together we could be putting out top fifty movies almost weekly.
However, that's not the point. Many Clocks enjoy making movies that the average Newground's user describes as "crappy". They should be allowed to continue making them the way they want and not have to conform to making "incredible" movies simply because that's what other people want.

But thanks for the positive words.

so people in clock crew can make things that AREN'T crap.....
You did an excellent job, please keep raising the clock crew standard

ToadClock responds:

That is true, actually. So many people neglect all the awesome movies made by talented Clocks, many of whom are far better at animating than me.
They just think the Clock Crew has produced so many animations they call "crappy" because it can't do better.
Quite the contrary. It can, but it chooses not to a lot of the time. Most of those movies you guys hate have some sort of significance to them that the members of the Clock Crew understand and appreciate.
It's all about self-expression, regardless of what the average Newgrounder feels of our movies.

nice work =3

that was very arty .... i like it =3 really good job

Goo job.

I really liked this. Wasn't funny, wasn't very serious. But it was good, it was arty. What is that song called?

ToadClock responds:

Heh, I wonder how many times I'll have to answer this?
It's called "Battle at Witch Creek", a beautiful piece that came to popular attention when it was featured in the classic PC game "Rise of Nations".

All I can say is, that was great. Perfect animation.
