Ah, you finally released the game! Great, dude!!
And thanks for adding Blockhead as a 'cheat'! Blockhead PWNS!
O, and ye, great game dude. Great graphics, superb gameplay, great sounds and music! Overall a really, really great '2D' based platform game in 3D (..woah, that sounds odd..) with great level up system and unlockable cheats n' stuff. The fighting is genrally great, but it would'a been eaven better with more combos and different attacks depending on where ur mouse pointer is.
The hole game stopped sometimes and I had to reload the page and sometimes take bosses over.. But I finished the hole game, unlocked some characters, such as Blockhead, and I'm going to finish it again soon.
Anyways, great work, keep it up!
Keep it kewl-
I LOVE this game. I'm going to be playing this for a while. I enjoy RPGs and this one is no exception. Words cannot explain how amazing this game is. The graphics are amazing, I know how much effort went into the coding, great job, both of you. I'm suprised this didn't get a perfect 5. I never expected that flash could do something as great as games that could actually put on cds and sold as computer games.
This is flawless, FANTASTIC job,
Can't say bad much, except there's a part where I am currently stuck (as in cannot load), just after the crow part. I reloaded the game and its still stuck, so I'll try to reset the game.
I understand that weeks of your time went into testing blah blah blah... The point is this game does not work on Macs. I threw every browser I had at it; Opera, Safari, Firefox, etc etc, hell, even Flock, but still that damn spinning sword stopped me. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure this is a great game, but it doesn't function on an entire platform. That's *bad*.
At least mention something in the info about known bugs; I think you've gotten enough reviews stating this problem establish that it is, indeed, a problem. Think of my low score like how IGN PS3 gave an extremely unfavorable impression of Orange Box; the game had so many technical issues, that the outstanding gameplay didn't make up for it. Of course, in this case, we can't even get to the gameplay, so the impression is even less favorable.
For reference, I'm running a PowerPC iMac G5 with 2G RAM (and crappy processor speed, but that shouldn't have anything to do with it).

I really was not expecting there to ever be a Paladin game but I am glad that there is. I have never really been a great fan of Flash as a medium for this sort of games but I have been proven wrong on this occasion.
First of all, the drawing and animation was superb and fitted the style of the game perfectly, no complaints in that department. The music was also very good although I would expect nothing less after watching 'The Composer'. Pretty basic gameplay but made all the better by the spells system which added some variety. For a flash game, the amount of stages is another strong point.
Not a lot really, just a bit of slowdown in places but there isn't too much that can be done to stop that. I think the collision detection in a few places was a bit off but its probably just me nitpicking.
Overall, its probably the best Flash game I have played to date. A really well presented product and adds a lot to the Paladin series.
Have you thought about porting it to another program/language? Take a look at Gamemaker (www.yoyogames.com) as that is not too hard to pick up and it may allow you to add some extra features such as online co- op which would really be ace.
