An Educational: Radiation

Alright everybody!

Just as a note, the begining takes a little while to get to the title, this is intentional. Also, the title headings are buttons to get to the next part.

This is a short animation that I made to explain the concepts of Radiation to my physics class. I'd like some suggestions on what I could have done better for this flash, though I've done well enough on it to get an A on the project.

End?

This was pretty good. I hope you elaborated more on radiation in your presentation during class though. The only big problem I had with it was the ending. After the Sun faints during the battle with Charizard, nothing happens. I couldn't find anything to click, so I assumed that that was the end. It needs some sort of conclusion. Even a "THE END" sign or "Congratulations, now you know about radiation" or something would have been suitable. Otherwise, good job.

OK as a school project, but not for a flash

It certainly seemed to be a well done project, but as far as flash goes, it was bad. I liked your idea, but the text you modified to have to do with physics didn't match up. The haikus also seemed out of place. Waiting for the music to finish was obnoxious and unecessary, and the play button wasn't obvious at all.

Good luck on your project, though!

Wow!

I have such good memories of that game, I remember when I somehow got hold of Pokemon blue on a floppy disc. How old skool is that?

Anyway, it was quite well made, but I think you could have put a bit more effort in. The text really didn't match up and you could have used the existing text to make a Pokemon font set of your own. It was also very annoying that the title screen didn't appear for absolutely ages and it wasn't clear that you had to click any buttons in places.

However, it did take me down memory lane and it was pretty clever, I'll give you that. How did you manage to get it all into flash? Did you get a PC version of the game or something? And it was great hearing those 8-bit classic songs as well, it made me chuckle to think that they used to be some of my favourite tunes when I was a kid. Thanks.

Very Cool!

Hah, I thought that was really cool and educational. Nice medium, a Pokemon game. Who would've thought you could use that to teach advanced math and the effects of radiation. Keep up the good work.

pretty cool dude, but....

the blank white screen, though intentional, was not meant for impatient people
