Short but very nicely done

Not too bad for a first animation

Sadly, I can tell ya that with standards as they are, this flash probably won't make it onto the site for good. But don't take that hard, man!

a few suggestions from some random asshole (me) :

1: the preloader. I know youve addressed this in your comments, but I have to emphasize that a preloader really gives it a finished look.

2: sprites. The sprite animation was pretty damn good for a first animation, but you have to realize that if using sprites is the way you want to go, there is a lot of competition and a lot of hatred of sprites on this site.

3: music. Your music begins repeating itself in the end (or maybe you have an ending song that just intersects with the song used in the flash.) as you practice, you will learn how and when to countermand this.

Like I said, as a first submission, this is pretty good. Keep working at it, don't let ANY asshole discourage you, and just have fun.

Fairly good on the first go....

It was ok, It wasn't horrible, but you could make it better. I think that next time, you should take more than one day to make a flash like this, cause you would have much more time to make a great story line. Overall, the animation was smooth, and the music wasn't bad... 3/5

he, i acually laughed at this one, it was better than i exspected, with all the bad mario movies arround. Pretty good for your first flash movie. Keep up the good work. 6/10
