This is Love Adventure. A stunning and dazzling look at what a Japanese cartoon intro might have been like, if video game graphics had never progressed far past Atari.

I hope you enjoy it.

Music in the animation by the amazing Lacuna Coil, song title: Senzafine

CONTEST OVER!

For those that actually tried to guess what show this was based on, someone has indeed gotten it right. I was very surprised. They declined to have their name or a link put at the front of the animation like I offered.

Their guess "The animation is not based on any particular anime intro and is mostly if not all original." Which is sadly true. It's not based on any particular show. Which sort of makes me a liar and a horrible person. Sorry to anyone who wanted to watch the show it's based on! Please still like the animation. Do not hate me.

I regret nothing.

May glory come to your children if not you.

Near the end after the main character defeated three people there was another warrior behind him with a yellow headband. The scene that followed where he turned to him and then the man walked away gave me chills. That was really good :D

Emptygoddess responds:

I like to think that guy in the yellow headband is him from the future who traveled into the past after turning blue.

There were so many disparate elements in that animation that its covert originality was not as, well, covert, as you may have wanted. I think you should have tried making the thing wholly authentic by using "music" or just sound effects commensurate to the Atari.

Emptygoddess responds:

Thank you for thinking.

I enjoyed your animation.

I hope you also enjoyed your animation.

Edit: 19.02.2019, still enjoying it.

Emptygoddess responds:

I enjoy many thngs!

Wait...

how were red and blue's headbands fluttering in opposite directions? did they have individual headband fans? or do they make them flutter with their minds?

Emptygoddess responds:

Personal dramatic winds.

...Hover Whale?

I'm pretty sure I saw him flying a whale in there somewhere. Do you by chance know where I may purchase a flying, pixelated, dark-blue colored whale that has no eyes or mouth?

Emptygoddess responds:

At the flyinng pixelated dark blue colored whale that has no eyes or mouth store.
