Cute animation - it's catchy, but the premise is flawed.
I would think that a sufficient mass of bacon between herself and the laser may render her safe from harm. Similarly, if the entire room was packed with bacon, the motor driving the laser beam module would jam so the beam would never reach her.

Never underestimate the power of bacon.
