It's a good concept...
but the graphics are what really need work, and the selection is kinda boring, I understand that this really is a test so not much is expected, Newgrounds generally isn't the place to posts tests.

A simple engine i made, i hope to use this in a future game, or someone use it in a future game.

Has potential
What you've offered so far in this engine looks interesting. The character is quite nicely customisable and its movement is smooth. You could've had more moves, though (at least crouching), before adding it here. You could've also showcased this engine in a more complex map with cliffs and such where the character could've climbed on ledges and so on.
Keep improving this engine, it has potential!
