I beat the game and thought it was pretty interesting. The only thing i could say needs to be changed is the second to last star upgrade. No attacking in front of you?? How worthless is that!!
Gotta say though, the last upgrade was pretty pimp.
OH. By the way, while it WAS interesting the way you made the difficulty of the game harder NOT by increasing the amount of health the enemies have OR the amount of them, but by the way you placed them. Interesting concept, but I think putting them RIGHT IN FRONT of the door you enter to is a little too much.
All in all, pretty good game, I actually wanted to play through the whole way.
And for noobs who are having problems:
quit saucing it up and get firefox.
Black & White Oldschool... Nice
I really enjoyed the hell out of this game with few problems. Loading problems and with the enter/shift controls quite a lot. More importantly though, the star attack with 6 stars seemed to have been a bad idea. Especially since the monsters near the end with come directly at you or try to get behind you. I like a little challenge in my games, but it got pretty ridiculous at that point. If you would ever redo this game I would suggest a few options of star placement given to the player through a menu. Other than those tiny little blips though, I thought the game was fantastic. Keep up all the good work!
I agree with tomthecool
That last hallway is impossible! I've tried doing it like, 20 times, and I have only made it halfway. Please, please... rearange the stars so my little chick has some frontal protection!
But I loved it... up until then.
There's a 7th star.
Im stuck with some Dirty Pigs shirt and pants.....i have the washer and grinder thing..... WTH do i do next? (i tryed using both but only got some stupid response)
Too good to suffer from such terrible design flaws
I was so ready to praise the hell out of this game but the six star patter...oh the six star patter...what in God's name were you thinking? The fundamental rule to powerups is that they should never make the player worse by actually having them...I'm going to have to go back through the game and play through missing one of the star upgrades just so I can finish the last room.
On the positive, this game could easily be mistaken for an execellent classic era gameboy game. The level design was great and all the puzzles were fairly clear and logical. The combat was fairly weak but prehaps in this case having a weapon that was more accurate would have made the game too easy.
On the whole. Very good. If it weren't for the 6 star issue it would have been a 10/10.
6 star is actually pretty good for the 25 room.....once you get past the first group.
...Then after that you can get the 7th and play like a retard :D
