** UPDATE (02/01/08): Yay! Age of War finished first in the maxgames contest! You can check all the rankings there:

To thank you guys, I fixed some bugs:
The 3rd special is longer, and wont stay forever if you die usign it
The final turret should no more reach the ennemy base
The special wont reload when paused
I reduced the damage of the double turrets a little

Thats it for now. Ill release some information on my next game soon on my website:
**YEAHHH thanks for the monthly voting!!! Wooot i love you all!

press space to pause the game

*Added difficulty choice when you start the game
*I think I fixed the invicible unit bug, sorry for the inconvenient

Take control of 16 different units and 15 different turrets to defend your base and destroy your ennemy.
In this game, you start at the cavern men's age, then evolve! There is a total of 5 ages, each with its units and turrets. I hope you have fun with this game! Sooo many hours of hard work.

Thanks to CyprusX who made many units to help me to make it in time for the contest. You rock man!

nano ago FTW

After you get to nano age, if you build 2 towers you are untouchable.

Its a prety good game. The only problem is the 'special atack' in the renaiscence era... it seems these atack only makes your units shine... -.-'

Fun But...

It was good but you can't cut the music that's what annoyed me

Maybe I just suck

Great graphics. A very approachable interface. Overall, a great effort.

But for the life of me, I can't find a way to beat it without getting the Ion Cannon at the end. Is there a man alive who can beat this game before entering the space age? As a result of this, I don't see much in the way of strategy. Maybe if instead of the soldiers becoming consecutively more powerful, there was a rock-paper-scissors aspect to them.

Could've used a few more ages too. Bronze and Iron for instance. And civil war era (whatever it's referred to by "age"). But I understand you were pressed for time.

Why are Tanks melee units? >xD

Anyway, lack of diversity in gameplay makes this a mere 7.

Eternal stalemate

lots of fun at first, but once you reach the final level, there is no way to win, and you can just walk away and your turrets will take care of every enemy that advances.
