Bomee's last dating sim for the 2007 year, completely drawn with a mouse, with backgrounds from real pictures taken by my sister in Montreal Canada. You play as Jenna Moonlight for an unlimited amount of time as the war between the living and those infected by the Blood Pond Ensue. The Blood Prince is the son of Fantom and Ari from Love Dating Sim 1, taken away from the lovers by the Jealous Blood Pond Craven. Those with Vampric blood are not affected by the fumes from the Pond. Those affected become vampires like Stas. And those with witch blood like Jenna mixed with Vampric blood are very powerful-- you as Jenna can choose to destroy the world or save it... with eight different endings and five original characters...

This may be a very simple dating sim, but it's like no other with an original storyline and hentai-less graphics/gameplay. Is it love or lust at first bite? You decide.

Happy Halloween 2007! Stay tuned for more/new/ and better Dating sims for 2008 from Bomee of!!

==ENDINGS== (7/8 found)
(5) Date and end with each character
(1) Drink from Annej 4 times
(1) Drink from Logan 4 times

==NOTES FOR ENDING 8== (Notes I took looking for it)
~Killed Blood Prince and Stas, got nothing
~Killed Mobley as well, still nothing.
~Killed all 3, drank 3 times from Logan and Annej, tried to drink from Logan once more, ended up with same ending.
~"Dated" everyone without getting an ending, got nothing.
~Got 100% EXP on all 5 to get all items from them, got nothing.
~Bought all items, got all NPC gained items, nothing.
~Killed BP again after all items to get nothing.

My issues are these:
~"Mission One: Find Logan", accept or decline. Why does it matter? It changes nothing as I saw. It doesn't even update if you accept and find him.
~The "Slayer" item.. It does nothing as I see it. Maybe it does, but I don't know what to do with it. Maybe I should pass it around to all 5 people to see.
~The NPC items you get. They do nothing, you cannot see them in your inventory to see if you are missing anything.
~Killing the BP says the forest will bring him back or something. (Too lazy to wait for 100 days)

If someone can look into these issues, maybe you'll have better luck than I am getting the 8th ending.

==REVIEW OF GAME== (Copied and pasted from wordpad, typed while playing game)
Characters did not have much of a backstory to them for the exception of the Blood Prince, which was slightly covered in the story. What was told in the story about the Hunters, Vampiric, and Vampires is minimal and the only time it's used is to label Logan as a Hunter, and Jenna as a Vampiric. Otherwise, there's no story to the game. I know this is a dating sim, so I'll ease up on the score.

A VERY basic dating sim, to say the best. The script was "there", but there wasn't that much to it, just a bunch of slow-progressing to "I love you, be with me" phrases. Talking does eventually cap out after the EXP limit for every character, but it then just repeats the same last phrase over and over. Would have been better if there was a randomized pool of last "level" relationship phrases for the characters. Also noticed that the "Hunting" section actually bugged. Many times have I seen the flash of a +(XX) to my money count but it doesn't add to my money nor remove HP. I would also like to point out that the snake has 2 money counts to it: 1) The head and tail dishes out $30 per hit, totaling $150 per day, while 2) the midsection that coils up drops $25 per. I thought that was a great idea to do, but the thing that irks me is that it's such a simple battle design. Basically you figure out what pays best and beat it repeatedly. They never change, and if you "miss", you still don't lose HP making it a guarantee $150.

The music that is present is probably the saving grace if it comes to that. The title/ending music was a great choice, it's not too short or too long, it's perfect for a title or set of credits. As for Stas's music box song, that was a decently good pick. Considering the story of the world as it is, it fits (in my eyes) for someone of his kind. The rest of the music was a short loop and was okay, but should have kept playing even if you were to change to a talk screen with the same character. However, the game is lacking music in many places that are just empty. It is good to see that each character gets their own song though.

Maybe the second best part of the game. Done with a mouse? That's pretty darn good. The art is not terrible, but it's not brilliant. It is definitely on the upper end considering the medium used. The animation in the game is also present, but minimal. There were a few awkward looking-pictures that were in there, based off character positioning. Even so, they were still recognizable and weren't terrible.

Not a bad game at all, but clearly could have done better in the mechanics. Definitely did play the vampire theme though.
