A game I made up for Newgrounds Halloween 2007. The famous game's remake (Asteroids) with up tp date Pumpkin style. Shoot, survive, collect points. Save the Halloween spirit by killing the evil Pumpkins. Further instruction within game. The music is from Pinball Fantasy the great Amiga game.

Have Fun!

Nice take on asteroids here. Got to love the amiga music too. My only criticism is that the left and right rotate buttons tend to hold on a little too long after you let go of them.

Good job otherwise, well done

Squall85 responds:

It's because you are not rotating with a fixed degree but it's increasing from zero to nowhere as you keep pressing it. After you release, it slows down.

It's got potential.

I could see this become a really fun game down the line but first you would need to improve somethings. It seems like the ships movement is a little slow to reactions, you need to be able to shoot faster, there needs to be more things to shot, and then I think it would be a really good game.

Cool game, but...

I could really use a longer respawn invulnerability time. I remember getting hit, then I respawned, I couldn't move fast enough and less than a second later in my new ship, I died again, and this repeated for the third time ending my game.

And that was just level two. Otherwise, I like the pumpkin goodness.

You are invulnerable as long as you don't touch the keys...
