I always skipped over this game for its more feature-rich descendants, but after deciding to play the game all the way to the end I do think it's a good experience on its own. The small amount of towers makes the game a bit more focused and counterplay against certain enemies is a lot easier to figure out.

It is a full game, all the way to the final boss. If you would like extra content, that option is available to you.
Defeat a massive invasion of steampunk-ish enemies in this epic flash game! 25+ levels, multiple bosses and lots of weapon upgrades! After a ton of work, this game is finally out.
For the first time, you can actually buy extra content for this game, and use it on this site.

Game Instructions:
A full tutorial is in game. Typically you use the mouse to point and shoot. I recommend using the machine gun on lowest tier when starting out. Press 'P' to pause. Hotkeys can be reassigned. Game automatically saves after each level so you can easily come back later.

I do like this game, but there is a big problem with it. I don't like having to command all those different machines. I would have liked it if they were automatic. Yeah, I guess that would have been a bit too easy. I'm just not used to seeing this in a defense game. The music is quite good as well.
Sometimes, I just kept clicking above me to destroy below enemies. The graphics are fairly decent. The title's pretty cool too. You certainly get your money's worth. It's worth checking out.
