Well it wasn't that bad.
Seemed like a test in Flash, if anything. I have to admit Sub-Zero took me by surprise.
I wouldn't go the 'Robot Chicken' route though, NG is cluttered with all sorts of sprite movies just like that, and I don't think a lot of users want anymore of it. But whatever, do what you want to do.

I'm in the process of making a new movie that is going in a completely different direction; hopefully it will do a lot better than this, haha. I guess I didn't take into consideration who my audience was going to be.

Extremely poor... you need to consider making the story longer and add a better plot to the whole thing...
this could be made in 20 mins... and your lack of hard work shows!

Pointless.
Just like you don't start a band to do spotless one-on-one same sounding covers, you don't make flash movies that we've all seen a hundred times before. This movie had nothing new to add, nor any real jokes to speak of.
Next to that, the animation was nothing to write home about.
I don't want to discourage you, but if you're going to make a new flash, please make something more original. Even with Mario Sprite movies, there are loads more original things to do with it!

This movie was supposed to be a little abstract with the one liner "Outstanding". I was trying to make this movie along the lines of Robot Chicken, where the whole show is a bunch of funny clips put together. I was planning on making more movies and actually piece them together to get kinda the same effect, but I decided to make this one and see how it flies before I make the others. I've made on other flash movie ever and that was a couple years ago, so I had to relearn just about everything as I made the movie. In all I believe it took me about 12 hours to make: get the idea, draw it out, find the sfx, characters, tutorials, etc.
