This is my first uploaded attempt at Flash. Coincidentally the first Flash movie I've ever completed. So feel free to point and laugh at my noobish techniques, as long as you include guidelines for enhancing said techniques.

Hey, wanna put it on your iPod or PSP? Haderust did, and he asked me to make this: m/zeldaparodymp4mp4/;1023 5556;/fileinfo.html
An mp4 version of this movie. It's about eight megabytes and the sound lags somewhat noticeably toward the end, but hey. It's free.

Edit: The link as posted does not work. You have to delete the space between the 'o' and the 'm' in 'com' and the 3 and the 5 in that bit with all the numbers. I've tried doing this, but it won't let me save those particular changes for some reason. =\

Also added:
There are more parts in this series, if you liked this one. They're not in the Zelda collection yet...

Captured Ocarina of Time precisely.

Thats pretty much how i felt first time around. The drawing was nice for your first time, i think you did a wonderful job on the voice acting, and the humour was constant and enjoyable all the way through. I would only hope you could make a series out of this, because you know how many odd things came about in the Zelda universe.

DarkLink777 responds:

Yes, I think a series is exactly what this will become. This was more or less the practice run; future installments will hopefully be better (and longer, of course).
Thanks. =)

Don't doubt yourself!

That was amazing for your first flash! Those weren't noobish techniques at all, you are already a lot better than a lot people on here. The art was great, you used sound well, you used voice acting and it wasn't choppy! Have confidence, you'll be a great artist in no time. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if this landed a spot on the front page.

DarkLink777 responds:

Wow, thanks! With all the positive feedback I've gotten so far, I think a sequel is a surety.
You wouldn't be surprised if it got on the front page? I would be, lol. =)

I really liked it

I can tell you actually put effort into this. You can tell it's not the crisp quality of an expert but this was awesome for your first time. I actually laughed at the jokes, which was a good sign. If everyone could put this much effort into their first flash there would be a lot less in the NG graveyard.

DarkLink777 responds:

Laughter achieved. Mission status: Accomplished.
Thanks. =)

Funny, but a few not-to-technical things.

When you record sound, more specifically panting, hold the mic off to the side of your mouth, not directly in front of it. That will prevent the air molecules from vibrating the coil and make the breathing sound more like breathing and less like a hurricane. On an unrelated note, Navi should not have had a shadow because . . . it? . . . is a fairy and emits light. Other than that it's just a matter of learning to draw better and flash techniques, neither of which I know anything about.

DarkLink777 responds:

Thanks, wow, that really helps. Now they all sound a bit less fuzzy for the inevitable sequel.
As for Navi's shadow... Yeah, I screwed up. At least you didn't notice that Link never got a Deku Shield, lol. Thanks again.
