Just like Prynox said, the effects are great, but maybe they need to be more smooth.
All in all, you are on the right track.

Just too short

This flash way far too short- you should have made it anything of up to 30 times longer. Music wouid be better too (particularly action music), or even better- a man running throught etc. However, your effects are very good and you could use this skill of yours in a flash which would be very good

the effects looked good if thats what you wanted to know but it would be useful if you told us exactly what each one was for.
