I gave you a 5 just to be nice, but the animation does seem like you took a lot of shortcuts.
Not all of us are gifted with a wacom tablet ya know. But there are shortcuts i have to admit
Ups and Downs
Ups - Very interesting, deep within the subject. Explores all ideas thoroughly. Drawing was ok.
Downs - #1 reason: ANIMATION. You used minimal animation, mostly movie clips, tweens, and just static images. The animation had a very "animator was lazy" feel. Does not look like it contains much effort. Frame By Frame is your friend!
Altogether, it was pretty good.

The visuals are all right. Animation needs work and over style is fine. Then I read your analysis and lost most of my respect for you. Acid is a very severe drug, along with Cocaine, Heroine and there by products. I'm Curious what your feelings are on marijuana, and booze. I have been known to smoke here and there, and I'm 23, married, 2 kids, own my own home and put my wife through college. My "dealer" is a friend of mine that grows it in his shed. I find that the strong spirits and weed are on the same level of "evil", just my opnion, was wondering if your so singleminded to lump them all together.

the forest part confused me at first, but i read the synopsis and it became very clear.
