Update: I made an error in the file dimension listings - NOW FIXED - so you can actually read the text. It is still pretty small, but my use of raster graphics will not look very good at another scale. Still, now that the size bug has been spotted, it is very much improved. Thanks for the feedback from those unfortunate folks who had to squint to see the fist posting. As for a high score list; I may just have to add one in. That's a great idea and one that was beyond me when I wrote the game but totally doable now. Then again, that might be a good idea to implement on Triple Dotzee...

Dotzee is a small presentation of a classic dice game that offers addictive strategic gameplay. This early design of mine is not very glitzy or particularly amazing, but it was a fun way for me to learn my first bits of Flash. I had designed a Breakout clone before this, but I want to redesign it and post the results later. The earliest versions of my Breakout clone are on my website if you are curious, but good things may come (here to NG) to those who wait. In the meantime, enjoy this little pet of a game. Would I design things differently now? Absolutely! I don't think I will do any more with this version of Dotzee, though. I'd like to design a Triple Dotzee someday, but I will do that from the ground-up and make it better all-around. One note: do not trust the odds tips in the info. panel. Those are basic odds expressions, but by no means do they describe the complex odds that govern dice rolls in Dotzee. I could write a book on that alone and I do not think that this tiny game needs a giant text inside of it. Enjoy.
