This is our first creative submission to New Grounds.

It's Episode 1 of a new digital graphic novel / digi-comic The City Of Thamesis.

Please feel free to comment or visit our hub site at www.cityofthamesis.com and let us know what you think there.

Here is a short intro to the story of Thamesis:

Welcome to the city of Thamesis, capital to a kingdom divided....
Once the seat of power for an ancient, all-powerful monarchy, much of Thamesis is now run by the influential Britomart Corporation who use their seductive psychic technology to exert control.
It has become a city of torn loyalties as its inhabitants choose between life as a subject of the Crown or a Citizen of the Britomart.

Meanwhile down in the inner city streets, beyond the reach of either power, dangerous outlaws have successfully hacked Britomart's technology for their own gain, boosting its power exponentially. Some use it only to escape their daily grind while others maliciously spread terror on the streets.
As the city plunges towards civil war, can anyone bring order to the streets of Thamesis?

Discover how an ambitious young king (Jonathan of the Rose), a scarred ex-war hero a beautiful psychic (The Lion & The Unicorn), and a teenage scoundrel (The K.I.D.) find themselves caught up in the struggle for control of the city.

The story is only just beginning....

Thanks for watching

I agree with the last review. I am loading episode 2 as I type.

Greatly enchanting and one of the most original stories thus far.

I've walked into the street of Thamesis

And I can't walk away. I've never being one for comic books but this piece of flash is simply stunning. The art is unique, the story line is brilliant and it is tied in perfectly with an excellent piece of flash and styling.

Looking forward to episode 3! Already helped myself to the second episode on the official site!

Nice script. Very well developed. The art was excellent and the kind of animation reminds me of nintendo old in-game cut scenes. Very pro, man. Hope it keeps up that way!
