why not just download a preloader from the preloader page?
if you wanted to make a good preloader tut, you could add a thing that says how long left, and what speed its downloading at....

The Flash Tutorials collection already has a preloader tutorial. If you taught prospective authors how to avoid delays when using library items that are exported to the first frame, I'd be impressed. And if you don't know how to do that, maybe you should learn some more about Flash for yourself before you try to teach other people about it.

That's exactly why I made it. I also made it b/c the other tutorial preloader Flash didn't seem to work. But simple is my middle name...
