That whole video, what with the music being somewhat uplifting despite the senseless chaos unfolding, made me feel as if I were watching a humorous parody of an old Sega Genesis game. LOL. It had me interested, some parts were pretty cool, despite the fact that it was just screen after screen of slaughter. The lack of blood was somewhat disconcerting, but you managed to shine through. A good piece, but, as WarpZone said, you do need to challenge yourself. I think you could do a great job. :D

Sticks + Madness + Ninjas + Techno

The only Newgrounds cliche' missing is sprites. This is just another combat flash. The animation is decent, but unremarkable. A ninja sneaks into a midevial castle and tries to kill everybody for no apparent reason. There's a couple cool moments, such as when he springboards off of the sword pinning the guy's head to the wall, or when he spirals up the tower. Other parts were kinda dull. There's no blood, which only makes the dismemberment of the enemy ninja at the end that much moe confusing. Also, apparently the only thing that can kill a ninja is some random mook who threw his sword from off-screen when the ninja wasn't looking. VERY good for a first submission, but I hope the artist challenges himself more next time.

Good, but missing something...

You can animate well, but your graphics could do with a facelift, there were white backgrounds in places which really made the whole thing look terrible in places, even just a bit of gradient colour would fix that problem.

The music didn't really fit in well, somthing a bit more dramatic and heavier would work well here, just dig into the Audio Portal. :-)

I would like to see the sequel, as you are clearly a good animator in the making.

good work for a noob

it was interesting. the ninja thing was great. but maybe better animation and some punching kicking and Swordeding (made up word) sound effects would have madeit better. excellent concept just next time animate it frame by frame.
