WTF is right. Why would anyone bother making a button tutorial?
Well, i'll tell you. A lot of people seem to have issues with making certain types of buttons. You probably know the type of button I am speaking of. The plain text button. No background, nothing but the text. The ones that, depending on the font, are so irritating to try and click that you give up, close the flash, and give it a score of 0 out of sheer frustration with the play button.
It's so simple, yet so many people dont seem to know how to make it work well.
That is where this tutorial comes in. I saw it once too often, and decided to make this flash instead of being a complete ass in my review. Though it is the primary reason for the tutorial, i decided to expand to cover all aspects of button building that i could think of.
However, this is not a tutorial on scripting buttons to make them do stuff. It is, for the most part, a detailed guide to creating a button symbol, and how to edit all four frames to get a desired result. Included are some of the creative uses i have found for buttons.

Basic tutorials.
I hate tutorials that cover basic shit- there are way too many of them. But the author made a good point- WTF is with all the people that don't put hit areas in their text buttons? It's annoying as hell, and it's just laziness. Good thinking, Chris.

But then again so is every tutorial. Its kinda like reading a book, your going to learn somthing from it in the end anyway.. The long intro got me kinda annoyed at it in the end, but it wasnt that bad a tutorial anyway. Good, and helpfull tutorial just add another subject to it or somthing. And sound.
