Not bad
It was exciting at first when there were some close encounters but after level 3's upgrades it got easier and after level 8 i was shooting them down like flies and reloading like i actually wasn't.

no variation in enemies and pretty simplistic upgrades, i dont mind the background being lame if the gameplay is good, and the controls were spot on

This was way too easy. Maybe you should make it so that you have to manually reload the cannon by pressing a button or something. Otherwise, I really liked this. Nice job!

you should had some diffrent music because that music is very irritating after a while and change the scene in the background, mid ground and fore ground...
