Yeah, for a first it's definately pretty good. The mixture of real and animated works well for the most part, but you've missed some details on some scenes, lines between images, etc. Also a pretty messy intro/outro screen, might want to fix those. Keep it going!

I didn't enjoy it at all...
You really shouldn't have even submitted it.
You should have done several practices and just showed them to friends so that they could give you an opinion and told you how to improve.

well, your efforts were adequate for a frist attempt at skate, but i think that some more could've been done for this one.
first of all, it was way too short... could've been a bit longer.
second, more moves... most of the moves one here have been used in just about every skate animation i've seen here, more variety could've helped this one out as well.
third, better graphics... the drawings were okay, but i think more detail and better backgrounds would've been good for this one too.
those 3 items would definitely help you if you ever decide to create another skate animation.

The one major flaw behind this is the physics, your skater looks like he could jump in any direction he wants for aslong as he wants.

Work on the visuals, makes a more fluent animation and drop the imported Jpegs.

Try harder.
