Note: This game is graphics-intensive. To reduce lag, you may wish to CLOSE ALL other browser TABS and WINDOWS, including this one. Sorry about any inconvenience...

Requires Flash Player 9. If you don't already have it.

Welcome to |>!, a rhythm game of great explosiveness. Some notes clarifying the game:
-The ground is drawn in time to the music, using AS3's new computeSpectrum() function.
- You cannot move your crosshair left and right because that would defeat the purpose of being synced to music.
- Remember, you need to HOLD DOWN the spacebar when a long enemy appears!
- I just noticed that Tatsu-Takahashi's track "In Your Face!" is in just about EVERY Rock Out submission on NG. Hopefully you won't mind it being in this one too.

This is the first game I have made using AS3 and Flash CS3. I spent alot of time on it, so please rate fairly. Hope you enjoy it!

Not too bad, though could be a bit beter, it seems that after I miss one bomb when there is a clutter, they all hit me before I have a chance to fire, but that may be because of my lack of prowess. Great game, you should make more, no doubt.

a good game, though the music that plays while you are speeding up is better than thereal music. And the long bombs on the second song are highly bugged. Half the time they do not explode even if you target exactly right, and they sometimes have a hidden part at the end that requires an extra shot that you cannot see.

Thanks for your review! I agree that the game requires several improvements.

Actually not that bad.

Now this is a game I can get used to, it provides a new spin on things that otherwise I would not have seen before. The graphics in the game were smooth, they weren't great, but they were smooth and detailed enough to do their intended job. The game was fun to play and it was really quite original, for the most part, but the game also got kinda' boring pretty quickly. Other then that though you did a good job with this game, your work has definatley paid off.

wow this game sucks

your lucky you get that one this was a discrace

Septenary responds:

Considering the submissions that are currently on your favorites list, I'm glad that I'm not among them. Isn't 15-years-old a bit too young to be in the 'mature' section of this site? Come back when you're intelligent enough to spell "disgrace" - maybe by then you'll be able to make a real review.
