This was my final assignment for French class. I was suppost to pick a french song (that I assume wasn't Frère Jaque or by Fred Penner) and make a powerpoint presentation on it depicting what was said as a comprehentional test. To me, it sounded more like, "Make a music video!" so I did! It took a week, so it's not all that great in quality... It's entirely hand drawn in 10 frames per second. It looks like it was sloppily done on purpos, but in reality I was only in a hurry.
So, I aced this project... At least the video part I did... The teacher even asked for a copy... before I translated it... I don't think I did so well on the write up... Since the song had no real message and was written cause they thought it'd be funny to have a song that made no sense...
Things to look for after you've seen it...
-the guitar solo is done on a piano
-the can-can line involves Schemdrick, a penguin and Darth Vader holding hands
-the same guy starts the can-can line and ends it
-the last sequence has a pyramide, then a clown and an octopus go by in the back... Don't ask why...
And if you don't make flash movies, I don't care what you have to comment. You don't know what you're saying.
Woo, great work making a random music video like this! And not just video but music too. Even if the graphics do look a bit rushed, they're good. That sketchy style probably works better with manual drawigs like this than digital ones. Great way to learn a language too, keep it up!

well, despite i forget about 90% of the stuff i learned in French classes... i surprisingly understood almost all of what was being said in this one... only by reading the french lyrics and not the english. i guess i remembered more then i thought. overall, this animation here was quite nice, hope your french teacher gave you a good grade on this one.
I hope so too... It was presented on the last day of school, so I may never know the exact mark...
