So after years of carbon-copy defense games, I thought I would spend a few days and make a crappy game mocking the genre. Then I got carried away and ended up working for weeks on what turned out to be a pretty fun game. Enjoy!

the game is indeed generic though aside from the customizability in the beginning plays the parody straight instead of saterising it.
even the worst tower defence games give you enough money to buy something on the first shop screen, the gameplay is more akined to a fixed top down shooter than a defence game, basically the novelty dies pretty quickly for those who'd get the parody and just plays like yet another carbon copy flash game designed to make ad space for kids to see.
the game is functional at being a crappy defence game as intended though, it works but isn't anything special even including the self aware title.
Turns out even a generic game's fun within this genre! Great gameplay, great music, great controls... great idea too. No idea how this could be deemed generic, but whatever element of generecity that exists, it works great. Keep it going!
I liked the game but it progresses a bit fast i went from not being hit once too being swarmed i kinda of like how the turret has auto scroll it has its moments when it annoys me but without it the controls would probably be way too loose.
Ok, first off it takes too long to get any decent amounts of cash. Secondly, the most basic drone turret sucks so badly, it dies within seconds of using it and basically wastes 1000 hard earned points so don't even bother with it. By the time I got enough points together to get a new weapon that was worth something, the enemies came so quickly and did so much damage there was nothing I could do about it.
More bad stuff; the extra space on the top and bottom causes the screen to shift very quickly. This is fine for fighting eneimes above and below, the trouble is it does it as soon as the crosshairs are above or below your turrent instead of closer to the edge of the screen so trying to aim at enemies coming from the left or right is harder than it needs to be.
If in shooter mode fighting smash TV style the shifting view point is less of a problem, but the issue of points gain is. Also, there aren't nearly enough things to even get. New weapons are all fine and dandy, but how about armor upgrades, additional health and other more interesting perks that could be of strategic importance like faster reload speeds or improved mag capacity. Movement speed enhancements in shooter mode would be very helpful for the later stages.
I gave it a 1 out of 5 only because it was at least mildy entertaining and its kind of old. But this is a game that does not stand up well after all this time. An interesting diversion full of promise but as its name would imply, easily forgotten or simply passed over.
