I was digging around in my archives and found this breakout clone I made a few months ago then forgot about. It's probably got a few bugs in it but I figured I might as well pop it up here so the world can enjoy more breakout action!

good

i found a bug where if you shoot the lazer thing then you lose while they're still there they stay on the screen forever so i had to restart the game

great idea, terrible execution

Like the guy before me said - the random bounces kill this game. Everything about this game is a fun breakout style game - the powerups are good, the graphics are a nice retro feel, the fact that it tells you what the powerup is is very nice - but every time the ball hits something chances are better than good that it will end up falling off the bottom. Random bounce = irritating - find someone to fix your physics and you have a great timewaster.

Strange.

You have pretty good upgrades/whatever, but it is extremely ridiculous. There are NO logical bounce physics, which make it almost not fun. That ruined it for me, but it's overall a nice little spin on a not-so-original concept. I'd play it if it weren't for those darned random bounces.

Mouse sensitivity

You really need to up the mouse sensitivity for this game to be enjoyable. Too often I was unable to get across the scene in time to catch a falling ball. You should also add something more original for it to stand out from all the other break-out style games.

bugs

It went to fast i did not have to aim. just had to hope to hit it. there were 3 bug.Game stop when got an upgrade thing, shot backward when i was not move it the mouse and a upgrade took 5 seconds to work one time.
