IMPORTANT: This is a rather different version of Chapter 1!
The original was released in 2007, but this version was uploaded in 2010. It's basically a 'remake' in many ways, though the plot and events are generally the same.

Unfortunately, your saves from the old version won't work due to the drastic differences behind the scenes, but there are enough differences, I hope, to make replaying worthwhile. Any saves you make in this version can carry over to later chapters properly.

EDIT (21st of August 2010): Sorry, there'd been bugs with this version for a long time! It's because I fixed the bugs on Kongregate and updated the version there, but didn't do so here... Now I have though, so hopefully all problems will be fixed.

Oh, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure you have an appropriate Flash Player version! There's a screen at the start that warns you if your version is outdated. If this screen appears *at all*, then you may (probably will) experience some bizarre saving problems. Updating your Flash Player prevents them.

A generic RPG....

The sprites were terrible, no offense. Better sprites could be used.
The combat was random, slow, and boring. I think we have all played too many turn-based RPGs. The dungeon layout was also boring. Nothing interesting since most rooms were just empty. The humor falls flat to me. I didn't really find it funny.

Overall: 2 out of 5

Pseudolonewolf responds:

How can you call someone's creations terrible but not mean offence by it? Tsk.
I suppose I should've made the humour more about George Bush or something. Or maybe fart and sex jokes...
I also wonder if you quit before beating The Dragon... It's such a shame that so many people are being disappointed by their first impressions of the game and completely missing out on the rest...

Brill fun, but i kinda got stuck lol

it was a brill game to play, up untill i kinda got stuck, not as in like couldnt do it cause im rubbish at it, stuck as in literally stuck. When Deugan told Mardek about the falling star he saw, after he had finished explaing he was facing the wall and walking into it, which means i couldnt get out the bed. so i had to stop playing here. Also the attack system kinda had me confused, the order of the monsters diddnt match the order of the health displays for them so like the monster at the top might have had the middle health display instead of the first/last. IF, IF the part where i got stuck is the part where the new chapter is going to pick up from, i suggest something that actualy tells you that. But its a great game to play id play it again and i probably will.

Pseudolonewolf responds:

Hm... Either you just didn't try walking through him for some peculiar reason, or that was some random bug that I've never experienced before... Since nobody else is reporting it though, I haven't a clue if it's recurring and in need of fixing or not!
And I also need to make it so then the HP display for the creature you're trying to target gets highlighted! I'm sure I had that in an earlier version, but I must've removed it accidentally then forgotten to re-add it...

Good but...

The game was good.... but it had some faults...
- All the random monsters were the same one
- The Random monsters did 0 damage... but the dragon did 500+
- Pretty Short
- The dungeon was straight and pretty sinple
- No items
- No point in fighting the random monsters, you were never gonna lvl up because of the low exp they gave.

And I also didnt like that you started out at lvl 50 with a bunch of stuff already... It would have been cooler to start at lvl 1 and choose he weapons/skills that you wanted to have.

Pseudolonewolf responds:

You didn't get very far at all, did you?
Agh, I do wish people wouldn't just judge it on that first bit...
But I suppose that bit weeds out the casual players from those who are genuinely interested...
Still. Maybe I should shorten it...
