Aug 3, 2009 - UPDATE - Medal fixes
If anyone has previously experienced the falling-through-the-floor bug, could they clear their caches, refresh, try again, and PM with the results? It'd be hugely appreciated and would get me closer to fixing that bug, if it isn't already with this new version. To make sure you're using the current version, go to options, then data, and look for the version number in the bottom left. It should be 1.55

In production since December 2005, this hefty s.o.b. has taken a small handful of Newgrounders a lot of work to put together. So you guys had better enjoy it!
Take a moment to configure the options to suit your control style and computer processor.

Sometimes it can get to your nerves. It's really unfair sometimes when you're battling a 1v2 because the AI just rapes you.

Great game, but a bit laggy sometimes - Even on low grafx. I'm not really the person to judge this, as I'm currently stuck with on-board vga, but still.

Other than that, there are no minuses.

NegativeONE, Luis and MindChamber's flash game, Newgrounds Rumble, is a play through worth experiencing. Taking myself back to 2007, it was exciting to play as well-known characters from Newgrounds and I learned a lot more about the characters too. As of today, the game still has the same charm from 2007 except the clunky gameplay. The controls are not satisfying as I remember them back in 2007. Anyways, each character you play as has a dumbfound story that make you chuckle and the options to see where the characters came from is thoughtful and unique to Newgrounds Rumble only. The fighting mechanics are simple and sometimes I find the blocking and attacking from CPUs randomly unfair. (Such as the CPUs being able to combo you to hell but when you try to mimic the same combo, it doesn't really work). The deposit serves no purpose that will make the game feel different other than unlocking 2 characters and survival mode - the unlockable items and maps is unnecessary and should already be in the game as default.
Each character has a different playstyle and no two others are better than each other. The game might say a character is unbalance (good or bad) but I see each character as a balance and unique fighter that can only be devastating if the player learns how to play them accordingly to their pros and cons. The maps are badly design but the theme of each map is charming. The items bring a new threat to your opponent and is a great addition to Newgrounds Rumble.
In conclusion, Newgrounds Rumble is worth 3 stars, It's a masterpiece that defines the 2007 NG's Era but as of today, it resembles what the best 2007 could've offered.

I thought it was cool, but I would like to see more characters and combos for the characters. I would also like to see a online feature.
