Great execution..

...I mean the whole point is to emulate an old style arcade game with a different twist. The controls and physics were spot on. Brought me back to the Atari 2600 days. Great work.

lacking graphics, gut great game!

while i dont argue that the animation and graphics in general were fairly low quality, and all around not very pretty to look at, id like to give you the credit of making a fun, challenging, interesting game. while it is reminiscent of frogger, it brings whole new elements to the idea. the idea of going out and collecting pieces makes it very entertaining. however, the entire time i never used the farthest row of iceburgs. the way the game is set up, you have no reason to go farther than the first couple rows, and maybe occasionally the third. i think there should have been another landing at the bottom of the screen, and that would be perhaps where the character started, trying to get to his house up top while collecting bricks. but other than that, the obstacles, enemies (ahh! polar bear!), and overall concept worked very well. please keep making more games, id love to see some other ideas you could work with. although do see if you can do a little better job with the drawings, but otherwise, great! keep it up!

Good

Aside from the spelling mistakes and the average graphics (the animals weren't too bad though), it's not a bad game and it's harder than it looks.. When the polar bear came out in level 4, I was like "OH GOD, there goes my safe haven..". Anyway, I enjoyed it :)

not very good

it was just a stupid little game. there is nothing to salvage from this go back to the drawing board

Frost Bite

For the Atari 2600..... and HOW do I remember When I had my first console the Atari 2600. I borrowed a game called Frost Bite...... in the dead of a 1980's Edmonton Winter. Ahhhh my childhood, in a neighborhood in the North part of Edmonton (which sucks, because there is no mountains, or forests ect, to block icy winds of death from the artic during the winters. So I remember the dropping temperature, which goes down to -40 in the game, AND Edmonton, and that and the wried purple-red sunset of winter, which is expressed on the game Frostbite. in such perfect colour (this wierd shine they put in a regular colour scheme). lol.
