Oh! That's cool! You made the character change size a homage to how that happens in xx3? That's cool.

Mixing in a non-stick element in a stickfigure fight was an interesting twist! And that twist at the end too, author versus animator, pretty cool. :)

Some Decent Moments

For about a minute it was a cool brawl out between Stick Slayer and all those Xiao Xiao sticks defending their creator. The audio was also quite decent for this flash making it just decent enough to watch the entire flash. The animation done on Stick Slayer was great when he walked into the animator's room that really took me by quite a surprise. I didn't mind the point you were trying to get at either it had a decent plot to it I suppose. Rest in peace Ben Spurgin, you were a great animator.

This could use some better sound and some less muffled up voice acting to the flash although I'll admit it had some very decent moments. Although some of the animation was good for the most part it was rushed and quite crappy indeed. The timing was much to short to actually get into the video or for it to have a replay effect on the viewer. The switch from dialogue to voice acting was a little unorthodox you could have just stuck with one or the other I suppose.

It's a decent flash, I'll give it that. There is a real brawl for about a minute but in total it just seems rushed and sloppy as well as to short to make an actual point to anybody about Stick movies. Rest in peace Ben Spurgin.

This seems to have taken several steps back in terms of the series. the whole starting scene with the stickmen that I had to click through there conversation just felt so backwards and old. I don't care if it was meant to be like stick movies are, you've had the stick men use voices in your other entries and there was no need for it not to happen here.

I also didn't like the heavily racist caricature of the XiaoXiao animator. There was no need for such a blatantly racist portrayal of his character. Most people know he is Chinese, and even those who don't don't need to know that for thepurposes of this movie.

Very disappointed in this entry, easily the worst of the series. I applaud you for going after the big guns the King of stick animation if you will, but this was a mess throughout

Rest in peace

Well, I guess I can't say stuff like "you" because Ben Spurgin is dead. Anyway, this was a great movie that he made. The weirdest thing was how he said that he does not hate sticks in the author comments but it does say he does at the end of the flash. That can be pretty misleading. This was great and I am surprised it receieved a fairly low rating for it being your most viewed movie. I guess a crossover like this was only necessary.

I know the creator of the series is Asian, and you did make him a funny stereotype. It was also great to hear the stick slayer talk in this. The animation was really good, especially when they fell out the window. Everything just seemed to have so much depth in that scene. As a fan of the "Xiao Xiao" series, I can take this as a parody.
