Goth the Elf
Episode 1: I have a Tumor

Goth meets Tumor, Tumor meets Goth.

This project was a joint effort between Rob Howell (A voice actor who worked with me on my other series, Dungeons) and myself. The script was written and all characters were drawn in Flash by Rob Howell. The voices were all performed by Rob. Damen Tripodi was our guitarist and I created the backgrounds, animation and compiled the sound.

Rob wanted to do this animation alone, but lacked the knowledge of how to animate in Flash. Rob and I sat down together and co-directed the film. I animated and he gave suggestions and feedback as to what he wanted to see. Eventually these characters will be a part of the fantasy universe in a multiple flash series that will encompass my pervious flash series entitled, “Dungeons”.

That was a pretty good first episode, i like the character design for the main elf character he was pretty creepy looking which suites into the whole style you are going for. I didn't know where you were heading when you introduced the fluffy character but its cool that you have chosen to keep it around as a sort of sidekick. The voice acting was good but what let you down was the transfer which was alittle hard to understand, i think the flash would have benefited from some subtitles. The background you used suited in nicely as well. Overall i was pretty pleased with the flash.

How shameless, I'm reviewing my own show *sigh*

Hello, I would just like to interject a comment if I may about the melancholy state of affairs in this short. The abyss is watching and its shadows swell in a tide of darkness. I would have to agree with previously made comments however, this show has promise (I know this is shameless, but in my long, eternal, and drudging life, I have to find ways to entertain myself).

Interestingly Done, Unique and Flashy

I really enjoyed the Style of this piece. The voice acting was really well done, as were the ambient sound effects. The elf needs some work on animation but it might fit the mood of an apathetic to move less frequently like you have shown. The psuedo-anime influence was nice, and not to overboard sell-out. One thing I would deffinatly suggest is more poses for Goth (if thats his name, had a nice ring to it). Side view, 3/4ths (a common angle in movies and flash). Other than that having a longer segment, and including more of the "fluff" thing would be nice(Tumor???). My wife loved that thing. I was more inclined to the elf myself. Anways, nice first submission, and I look foreward to further work.

Awe inspiring.

I have every intention of masturbating to this tonight. Well done.

Have fun!

That totaly sucked donkey balls!

Man this sucked i thought it would be quite funny from seing the name, but it was shite and wasn't funny at all. Dude who made this, you should remake it and do something funier with the elf! But this one sucked!

Avenger111 responds:

This was the introduction of characters. It’s not meant to be massive undertaking. If you don’t like the humor fine. We all have different tastes. Have a great life.
