Edit: Frontpage!
Tom, you made my day...no my entire week!
I'm aware that there are a few bugs, I'm planning on resubmitting a new and bug-free version in the next few months...thanks for all of your support!

-Surrounded v 1.0-
This is the main project I've been working on for the past few months.
Controls are included in the game.
A few things to know/tips:

-The charge shot attack is strong at the beginning but it is actually weaker than the stronger weapons you buy. It is meant to be a "helper" at the beginning of the game.
-At the end of each level, health is restored.
What upgrades do:
-Weapons: Allows you to buy a stronger main gun.
-Shield: Adds hp to your shield, the blue thing. Your shield regenerates and takes damage before your health. Cherish it!
-Health: The green thing, the majority of your health points. Upgrading this gives you more points.
-Control: Upgrading this increases your turning speed, acceleration, and maximum speed. To avoid some enemies it is a must later in the game.
-Armor: Divides all damage of enemies by a certain number. The maximum amount of armor, for instance, divides all enemy damage by two- this is the same as doubling your health and shield. A very useful upgrade.

okay but has some glitches

I got to wave 8 and the game glitched and wouldn't let me kill one of my enemies.

Didn't do too good here!

Although the system for upgrade and purchase is acceptable, the gameplay itself is very lacking and there are simple ways to go about the game: first of all when I go in a straight line a full throttle (at an angle of about 45 degrees to a given wall), I am able to turn around without changing my trajectory and shoot behind the ship. Doing this, I completely avoid any damage and the enemies merely pursue. However, when I do this, over time my ship goes at an increasing speed and my fire trail gets longer and longer and I hit the walls every 3-5 seconds (and I mind you this is with only the first thruster upgrade).

Another point to make is that when such strategy is used, the radar glitches and the points which represent the enemies no longer vanish making quite a confused clutter. Also, when an enemy is beyond the bounds of the radar, they still show up in the playing.

When I purchased my first upgrade (for improved health), my ship disappeared and all that remained was was the fire trail and when I fired my weapon, they would materialize of out nowhere, but as if the ship were still there.

These simple loopholes make for a poorly designed game. No longer does the game require any real skill. Nor does it offer any challenge. Although the concept is overall well thought out, simple bugs plague the mainframe and thus I give you a low score. Work on it, it could be a lot better.

I agree with Adu767, because at the moment, I, too am simply bouncing around aimlessly, not because an enemy has become invincible, but because i have destroyed all the enemies, and the level just wont end....

Its a space fight simulator..... in real time?

I like space shooters but it just took way too long for anything to happen in this game. and I found the controls to be really kinda limited.
