New features:

i fixed the mute button problem, added a new weapon (bazuka), redrawed nearly everything to make it look better, added more bonuses like a firewall, changed boss level, fixed highscore table, gave each weapon their own unique setting.

I mainly did all the stuff above, because thats what people asked for in the reviews, so there you go!

If their are any bugs please tell me,
also if you want me to add anything else for AV3 tell me

Please review

Alright game. Here's what I think of it:

1. Graphics: Al tho the game is not very graphical, the graphics still looked OK.
2. Plot: There wasn't much plot to it but I guess defending your computer is alright.
3. I liked the different selection of weapons and that each one had a different anti virus thing. (Such as Avast!, AVG, etc)
4. Sounds where nice. Good job on those.

1. The game is way to repetitive. I got bored of it way to fast.
2. There should be a pause button for when you have to leave the PC for a while.
3. There is no button to return to the main menu (Where the instructions are)

Anyways, fun for a little while just to repetitive.

Fun Game

This game is pretty sweet: simple, fun, and lot of varitey. Great sound, good interactivity and much more.

Once again, another good game!

Glad to be here when AV2 came out, I definantly remember AV1--a good game at that. This is a great improvement on the old game! But some issues need to be addressed; The game lacks some depth, side scrolling shooters are fun, but there needs to be more to them or else they are not successful. Side scrolling shooters are naturally dry, tiring and repetitive, but I have confidence in your skills or else I wouldn't be wasting my time :0).

Good concept, good artistic skills, as I said the game does need more depth concerning game play, I dont know how much new weapons are going to help with that. Consider combos (unless I missed that?) CPU upgrades, "firewalls", anything to give the actual game play more depth. Also consider a loop that is longer than 12 seconds, it will be less hypnotic and more involved. An excellent author who has great house/trance/gaming music is Dimrain47, he is a highly successful artist in the audio portal, I really think this will put a winning edge on your game bud.

REALLY do look into him, his music is popular, recognized, unique and most of all FUN! Just like your game :0)

Keep up the good work, hope to see AV3 or AV2.5 or something :0)

Fur Shizzle,

sambondashus responds:

ok will do, thanks for this very nice and helpful review. I am taking note of all the reviews, because im getting ideas for AV3 because i want to make it not so much the same, that is why i only called this AV2-BETA2 because not enough things had been done to make it AV3. Hope that all makes sense, anyway i will look into this audio author

Thanks :D

Ok, below adverage

Its not that good at all because when you fire the weapon you not only loose health but it some times doesn't fire and the timing is a little off, when you fire it actually fires about a second or 2 later, its very glitchy but im sure with a bit more practice and alot of editing this could be a good game, but at the moment it isn't sorry

Little tiny flaw in your game. Whenever you fire your weapon you seem to loose health. And before you say so, I did not hit a single mine. Not only is this irritating, but incredibly stupid. Especially seeing as when you fight the boss you loose less health than it does, so it's impossible to beat!

sambondashus responds:

well i dont konw whats going wrong with yours, i played it on the internet and nothings gone wrong and so have my friends. Mabey its the flash player some people have .?.?
