NOTE: this was done mainy to show my employer how i could illustrate backgrounds and they are supposed to have no colour... this was a side project to USV 4 and is finished first due to technical difficulties on usv4... p.s. I know the character is shit.

Hm...

Well I do agree with you; the character is pretty shitty.
But I did like how it had sort of a story line. The totalled car thing was a good addition to the movie, indeed.
Confused about why the bench was on fire.
And why the fire looked like balls.
Well, anyways.
I guess I enjoyed it.
Pluses: Sound, smoothness, backgrounds [even though colorless], length. All pretty good.
7/10 though, since the character looked fucked up, and since there was no real color, and since the other USV's were just better.
Kthxbye,
~Jestar.

Matchubox responds:

haha lol yea the bench was on fire cos i was trying to make car wreck parts look sort of skateable, and they set everything on fire... you are right there, the other usv's are better :)

Not bad

Not too bad, but the physics and gravity etc. were really messed up, everything was the same speed whther the skateboarder was grinding, falling, or just going straight. It go pretty monotonous after a while. The grahpics and sound were pretty mediocre. You should probably focus on quality rather than length, because people won't watch it to the end unless it's high quality.

meh

it was ok...

Your employer must be happy!

The graphics in the background were good, as well as the skateboard, done in 3-d. The skater wasn't too well done, but he might've been there just to focus attention. Style was great. The music didn't fit well, but it wasn't bad. There were also a scene selection button. Awesome.

Overall, this was a good animation.

Well...

To be honest with you, I liked the "Tablet" Version better, the graphics were cooler and more realistic. (Maybe it was just my computer) But the audio didn't match the video during the car crash scene. Also the "physics" in how the character jumped and the genral layout of the area was a bit off center to what he was doing.
