This is a Flash animation for my 2D animation class.

It is a short love story/tragedy between the boy and the girl on the school crossing signs.

The project required an animation of at least 11 seconds, the use of abstraction, and had to go with a piece of music.

Because of my need to out do myself, this animation is 3 minutes long, uses abstraction (plays with colours and shapes), uses the song Playground Love by Air (a piece of it), and uses no crappy shape tweens ('cause they suck).

P.S.
There is a little Easter egg at the replay screen. It's nothing much but it can be hard to find...

Cool

To tell you the truth when I read it was about signs I dident think much of it, but then I read some of the reviews and decided to watch it and im glad i did because it turned out to be very nice and i enjoyed it. i hope to see more of this.

nice one

that was a very sweet animation. this one had a very nice story to it, good graphics and audio, and it was very nice to watch. you put a very nice effort into this one... making this one all the more enjoyable to watch.
good work on it.

J-neko responds:

Thank you!

i liked the song and the animation wasnt bad at all i like it :D

J-neko responds:

Thanks!

Touchingly funny

This flash shows unprecedented originality and artistic nuance. I loved the ending, the tone of which was a combination of jocularity and poignancy. This animation clearly demonstrates that a flash in an overused genre can still be meaningful and innovative. It just takes a true gift and dedication to one's work to make it so.

Touching, genuine, wonderful.

Good job.

J-neko responds:

Thank you very much for your very touching and art savvy comment!
(Wish I could 5 it!)

But, with no disrespect in mind, I have to disagree with your "in an overused genre" statement. It's not necessarily that it's overused but that it's underused as a medium (just look at all those crappy stick movies, dressing games, Madness, etc...).
