This cartoon contains 6 scenes from famous movies, but they are acted out by Hanna Barbera cartoon characters.
If you liked this, please watch Hanna Barbera Fiction, an older cartoon of mine.

Awesome.

I especially liked the Jetsons/American History x. Your graphics are getting better, nice job with the character drawings and lip syncing. I like the concept and Good choice of movies too. Keep it up, Jeffrey.

He's back!

Hey looks like your back! Not much to say other than the drawing and the lip syncing were incredible! Keep it up!

-uhh me

How Funny!

Man, that was great. Your drawing is great again and the idea is hilarious! I was also somewhat pleased with myself for knowing where each soundbyte came from before the end.

My question is: Where's your daily award? This is some funny stuff right here!

Your work continues to impress me and make me laugh. Every idea seems original and fresh. Great job yet again! 5!

boinky33 responds:

I have made over 50 flash cartoons since October of 2005 and has not gotten one award. I don't know why my stuff isn't more popular. Perhaps not enough random violence and VG sprites.

When Tarantino met Hanna Barbera

-Technically, you did an excellent lip synchronization. That is something most people ignore and do not fully appreciate. The graphics were well done and credible, although you may want to put some extra attention on the backgrounds.

-[Adult Swim] is already doing some adult stuff with Hanna Barbera characters, but you indeed dare to do what they won't air, either for copyright reasons or simply for being too strong for the stardard viewer. You've got a great taste for movies, for you chose some of my all-time favourites!

-I see you took the sound and dialogues from existing movies. You can try to write your own movies still using Hanna Barbera's (or Nikelodeon's, or even real life ) characters; that would be something fresh! There are many voice actors out there willing to help for free!

You know what I'd love to see? The "Lord of the Rings" scene from "Clerks 2". That would definitively kick ass.

Man, you have a lot of potential; use it wisely! By the way, I invite you to take a look to my work; it also includes Hanna Barbera cartoons.

boinky33 responds:

Thank you for the review.
You say to put extra attention in the backgrounds, but I enjoy simplistic backgrounds and I don't want it to distract the viewer from the characters.
I do take pride in my lip synchronization, and it bothers me when people won't even put in a little effort. It really does make he movie better.
I suppose you could say I was slightly inspired by adult swim shows like Harvey Birdman, but I don't know if I would ever write my own script and voice, even though I can do most Hanna Barbera voices very well. Though most people can. That Clerks 2 idea might be good if I choose to make a second one. I cut out 3 other scenes for this one: Office Space, Half Baked, and Goodfellas. They'll probably be in that, too.
Thanks again for the review, and I'll be sure to check out your work.

Your adaptation was excellent!

This was very well laid out. The only scene portrayed better by another HB cartoon would've been Pulp Fiction as done by the Hair Bear Bunch. To me, that seems a better fit.

boinky33 responds:

Yeah, but I've never actually seen the Hair Bear Bunch, so I used the Flintstones instead.
