that was a pretty fun game, but it was way too easy. i think that a difficulty setting would've been nice for this one.... i beat this one no problem.

I really prefer the game you ripped off of, Dangerous Dave (Its freeware now) so please do something original.

This was actually quite fun. It reminds me of a game I used to play when I was a lot younger, I forget the name now but you played a little jumpsuit-wearing captain of something picking up fireballs to shoot at deadly birds and finding your way out of each level, it was dos-based but a classic, if anyone remembers what I'm talking about please send me a message! Either way, this game had good graphics, tolerable sound, and varied levels. Unfortunately, some shoddy coding and poor controls hamper the fun. For example, on the control front, you can climb ladders but can't jump off or shoot while doing so, and you can't duck! I mean c'mon, who can't duck in a side-scroller? (Actually, the game from my childhood didn't allow you to duck either; fancy that.) Also, sometimes the enemies shots went right through you and other times that went through walls to get at you. Still, though I complain, I actually did enjoy this little game, maybe only for the happy memories it brought back but still.... Quite fun, I say give it a chance. It might surprise you.

..they've failed. If that game was supposed to be a lure it was doing a bad job. I'm not trying to sound mean but it was one of the most common games known to the web, though it was well done.

100 times

I've seen at least 100 different versions of this game. It's professionally done, and looks good. Unfortunitly on Newgrounds, we've seen a little bit too much of this. This game will pass onto Newgrounds, but it will never make front page, or be respected. I hope whoever submitted this was not the artist, but the sponser of it, because I don't mean to be so harsh, but it simply looks like another game that was created specifically to draw people to a certain website. Try again with a more original idea.
