I was up late doing this.... it is a bit n00bish but I think I covered what I ment to, yeah I read the reviews, and it was intended for n00bz, but it is rather basic and if ya want a more complex tutorial then look for more of "Teh Uber Tut" Flashes soon to be submitted by me...

and I am sorry about the music, I was getting used to it and I had to cut it a bit short

okay tutorial

it was an alright tutorial. pretty basic overall.... but sometimes the basics are adequate enough for some people. sprite tutorials are a little bit unoriginal as i've seen a number of them before... same with the tips and pointers, but i do admire you wanting to assist other flash artists... always nice to see.

Not so good...

I think its retarted manually importing a sprite sheet and then manually breaking it apart and making movieclip symbol sprites this way. Why? Because:
a) You can just import the whole sprite sheet via code at run time from the folder that your game s in, this way you can always change the sprite graphics without having to recompile to whole fla.

b) If you have the sprite sheet imported and cached in a bitmap data object you can copypixel any sprite from it into a dynamically created movieclip and animate it automatically.

c) That all only takes a few lines of code and can be done in 5 minutes compared to the hours you waste if you do it your way.

^^Good Points^^
A decent musical choice. Seems like you at least know something about sprites.

^^Needs Improving^^
This is really a lacking tutorial. There are already sprite tutorials on NG, and you really didn't add anything besides the bare minimum of animating sprites. If you are going to make a tutorial in this day and age it has to have at least something special about it. This had a bland graphical layout, and had way too many words per slide. It is intimidating to see all of that text on one page, try splitting it up.
