--- UPDATE ---

Back in the 80s i played a textbased economic game
on my Commodore PLUS4 - I don't know the name but I know that i was fascinated. (edit: maybe it was Santa Paravia - thanks&greets to Doki-Tokei)

Then in 2005 i found "dark emperor", a free java-based mobile game in german language (google knows the place ;) -- and i wanted to do that in flash. I copied some of the game mechanics of both games and added a bunch of nonsense. And here it is!

In fact, it's a dice game. So don't get frustrated when you have bad luck!

Reading the instructions is highly recommended!

Really fun game. It took a couple of rounds for me to get how to play this game and it was really fun to play. I almost beat it, but then I lost... anyway; great graphics, cool sound and great new story.

to always win against the square enemy, choose top left, bottom middle, bottom left, bottom right.

really addictive

really fun game one of my favorite puzzle games

unhappy penalties a bit tough

Seems like there are very little events that give a happiness bonus, and most are against. Some random events were giving -12 happiness penalties, destroying multiple buildings, or some weird catastrophe happens that you can't recover from.

In my opinion, the game is still out of balance. Doesn't seem like it was tested much.

Overall, the game concept is sound. The graphics are simple enough to make it still enjoyable to sit and play for awhile.

Great concept and a fun game.
