Have you ever viewed stereoscopic image pairs?
Have you ever wondered how would it be, if you were able to rotate the object you're viewing like it was in your hands?
Well, I did. And this is the result.
If you don't know how to view "stereoscopic image pairs", search the web for a tutorial or two...

Excellent

I love stereoscopic images, and I love moving ones especially. I'm glad I found this, although it's rather limited.

Whooo!!!

This is cool, I've never seen a flash with this kind of interactivity! My eyes kinda hurt now, hehe... but it was worth it! You should maybe add some more 3D objects you can view, but I'm not sure what you'd do... maybe a pyramid? Very good job though on the programming!

Wow!

This is awesome. I've been hoping someone would undertake this for quite a while now, and I'm pleased to see you've finally taken the plunge. Great job!

I especially like the ability to adjust the settings. That's something that a static stereoscopic image doesn't offer, and it really helps those who might otherwise have trouble seeing the image.

I hope you'll take this to the next step and make a full stereoscopic movie. I'd love to see it done in this format, with the separate images on either side combining to make the full film in the middle. If done well, this could be amazing!

Good luck!

ArtBIT responds:

Well, I'm not going to make a whole stereoscopic movie! lol
...but I AM working on a 3D modeling engine, so you could make your own object to view...
I'll upload it here when I finish it...

I'm glad you've enjoyed this .swf :)

CooL

I can't see it, but it's a good submission and it will help the portal.

Keep the good work

neat

that was quite good, but in my opinion the cubes should have been shaded and not skeletal, as making it stereoscopic is to make it look 3d already, and thats all making it skeletal does.

if you do a cartoon or something else with this technique, it might harm my eyes tho... my foreheads hurting now, and i only stared at it for 46 minutes....

ArtBIT responds:

lol
I'm working on 3D engine, so you could make your own objects to view... stay tuned...
