Demise of Love

I made this as a tribute to a close friend that I recently lost. Its very short, just shy of two minutes long, but a lot of work was put into what little animation there was. I'd love to hear feedback from anyone watching. Thanks :)

P.S. I'd like to thank the artists of the music, if you can, go check them out and download some of their stuff.

P.P.S. yes, I know its cliche, but its nice to hear a played out story again every so often. :)

This video is beautiful.

I really liked this video, it's simple yet it gets the message through.

I would really appreciate it if you would make a video of how the boy met the girl and into the time he killed himself, and then following this video.

...

i love you

this was a nice one.

i love the art style you had, and the music choice was great. i would have given you a 10 had you been less "to the point" and been a little more discriptive, but it was still a work of art. Between you and me, I think that this showed a little more of your skills
(especially background skills) then your "Random flash"

it was still deffinetly worth the 5 i voted with.

Igcatastrophe responds:

hahah, jesus Aj, you dont have to be so impersonal. And in response to your PM, I'll be making a few more "lower quality" but longer and hopefully more amusing flashes later in the year. Ill PM you with some sketches in probably a couple weeks.

good

its a sad story. i liked this flash, but it is almost the exact same thing as another flash on here called "the last valentine". i dont know if it was meant to be like that or not, but check it out and you'll see what i mean.

Igcatastrophe responds:

I had never heard of it, i'll go check it out.

Touching...

It's a short story, and it has a beginning and an end, but it doesn't feel quite complete. If there's one thing I would recommend changing, it's the intro. The story is moving as it is, but images and words together are much more powerful than text alone. Because of the scrolling text, background images don't have to be detailed; even simple silhouettes will increase the aesthetics.

Also, the ending. Personally, I thought the "happily ever after" ending to a tragic love story just didn't feel right. It's like... ending a minor song on a major chord. But that's just me, so don't worry too much about it.
